Sonic Boom has this recurrence where Eggman appreciates a talent/hobby Amy has that no one else does. Whether it's her sense of fashion and decor, or cooking and fine dining, or her interest in Fuzzy Puppies, it's been too many times to ignore. What's weird is he only gets her when NO ONE else does.
I think I've read enough of the Sonic IDW comics to say that the comic's story is more important than the games' these days. And honestly that's probably not even a hot take. Don't get me wrong, Frontiers' story was a step up from Forces and Shadow Generations was great, even.
My town has a handful of guys that will walk around in AI-generated Christian T-shirts and pass out free junk like this. And I just think to myself that capitalism has fucked their brains so hard that their definition of kindness revolves around buying Temu merch and giving it away at a loss.
An insult that doesn't get used enough is "unserious". There's so many people out there who KNOW they're trolling, they KNOW they're playing Devil's Advocate, but they want to be taken seriously. They want to be portrayed as the "grown up" of the conversation. And the press often treats them so.
I beat Celeste a few days ago. It's the hardest game I've ever beaten without getting angry. I've played much harder games but it takes a few rage quits first. Hell I've played EASIER games that have made me mad. But Celeste? Not even a whine or grunt. I struggled, but peacefully.
This is the first time I've ever played a Wii game with a controller option not mentioned on the box. How odd.

Especially lately, I've been seeing a lot of people misidentify others as hateful. So I've got a life hack for y'all: the FASTEST way to know whether or not you are dealing with someone full of hate is to treat them with kindness. Those with hate have no room for love, and are ALLERGIC to kindness.

I'm a bit late to the party but I just finished Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2. And once again I gotta say, these are the kind of Batman stories I love to see! I never understood the hate no matter how many "why it failed" video essays YouTube tries to show me.

I gave One Punch Man Season 3 a chance despite the hate, cause I've watched "bad" anime before, and there's even some I defend. But I dropped it. Not because it was as bad as people say, but because it was boring. There wasn't anything awful to laugh at nor anything great to defend.

Okay so I beat the 8-bit version of Sonic Spinball after 3 attempts bur I've been trying to beat the 16-bit version for WEEKS to no avail. WTF IS GOING ON?!! The levels are nearly identical but I keep dying!! 😭😭

So much time can get wasted just going in circles, either because you're lost or because you have little control over where Sonic is going. I could easily waste 10 minutes just getting the timing wrong for certain setups.
