Oh hi. It's my birthday 🙂 I have to say that diving into acrylic painting and book illustration over these last few years has been incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy learning more, painting more, and getting older really is quite great!

something cool about macklemore is how after his controversial grammys victory, he ended up making a lite west coast tribute album w/ old heads like caz, krs one, melle. His music is corny, but it's impossible to accuse him of being a culture vulture or a sellout, which explains his integrity today.

is the GTA VI news overload unbearable? yes. Do I appreciate the game for being another Rockstar's forward thinking showcase of tech and artistic scale instead of an overstimulating gacha hellhole with dime in a dozen anime aesthetic, blatant genAI visual elements and shameless plagiarism? also yes.

I witnessed Spider-Man going into action yesterday in Minneapolis. He rode in on the back of a muscle car. Then leaped onto the pickup, right before unleashing a hail of fists onto his nemesis, Jake Lang, Jayden Scott, and their minions.
