finally watched the resident evil movie it was enjoyable but I still ended up feeling like it was kind of generic monster/zombie movie while watching I found myself comparing it to things like splinter, the thing, left for dead or dead space more than I did resident evil

I just finished resident evil requiem today (I know I'm late to the party) and what bugs me even more then them magically saving Emily is them acting like she doesn't have debilitating psychological trauma from transforming into a mutated monster and being shot a bunch
