Hands, why you do me like this? Another foray into animation. Base was a Yennefer model from Plague of Humanity I found, and have been slowly modifying. Why is retargetting animation such a pain in the ass? Still don't have a full idea of what I'm doing. Just kind of flailing around.
Alright. Time to truly let wrist rest for a couple weeks. Depending, this will probably only need a couple modifications.
Slow going, but at last managed to get some more of this done today.
Because every image of this I've seen is either pictures or horrendously cut up or jumbled up, I reassembled it into something coherent myself. Yes the bottom row is off center. No, I will not be taking questions as to why. Enjoy your #SpaceBalls internet.
Verdict is in from the doc that I do, in fact, have Carpal Tunnel, which means no wrist use even now that it's finally starting to feel better for probably at least another couple weeks ;_;
Wrist finally somewhat better - at least enough to get to another pass on the lineart for this portrait commission.
Wrist is still recovering - So have another bit of animation I was practicing with. Again, can't take much credit - Was using Mustard's Tifa Model and trying to work out MoCap Retargeting. Still uh. Still a bit janky, but I see the use?

Since my wrist is still sore, I guess have some of my first attempts at animation with Blender. All credit to Kenjjoo for the Panam model - I was just using it to play around. It... definitely needs work. It's a little bit cursed. But hey, first attempt, right? Practice'll make perfect.
Apparently misunderstood what client wanted, hair wise, from the reference they gave me. Wrist feels a bit better today, but already starting to strain again so prob all I'm gonna get done today. Anyway, adjustment to proper hair and then refinement.
Wrist still sore. Reeeaally hoping it's not the start of carpal tunnel. Can barely even use mouse for pc.
Can a wrist get brain freeze? My wrist feels like it has brain freeze Icing it may not have been the right call.

Some more work on the Hex Maniac. Doing the lace by hand is always a pain in the ass.
Also: Somehow, only today did I learn that Meowscarada's design is at least partially based on Venetian Male Twink Prostitutes. I feel like someone at Game Freak was having some fun.

Unrelated note - I feel like I've reached the goal years ago when I started practicing again. I want to give a shout out to @doxyblue.bsky.social 's tutorials and brushpack for Sai, and @aleriiav.bsky.social for her own videos - They helped tremendously in getting comfortable with digital art.
