We hear on the radio and tv, the resource sector (BHP, RIO, Alcoa et al) with their propaganda ads, how wonderful they are for the community and what great things they are doing in said community. I would be a lot happier, if they also let us know what govt subsidies they receive!
On this date 49 yrs ago, we rocked up to the courthouse, and got married. In celebration we are having curried sausages for lunch followed by watching the footy (on tv). Not even going outside today. The weather where we live is diabolical today.

Interest rates - just reading an article about the rejoicing if interest rates are cut, people will want to borrow more money to get a better house. If you have learnt nothing from this experience of interest rates going up, creating mortgage stress, you shouldn't be then bleating how hard it is.

I am an adult.... straightening up my wardrobe ( i am now committed to it because I now have a massive mess)🤦♀️. Have finished all my Christmas sewing, summer pudding is made and being squashed down in the fridge. I have 4 books to read, I think that may be next thing to start.
I would like to announce that I have made all my Christmas gifts, in doing so I have supported small home businesses in my mission and it is such a relief not to have to wander aimlessly through shopping centres trying to find gifts.

There is nothing on tv tonight, we don't do pay tv. decided to stream something on SBS, and of course, my tv freeze on the yellow screen🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️.Yes, I have turned it off (at the wall) and no that did not work, it is still being recalcitrant. ABC iview works just fine.
