For a community that tries to write "self-explanatory code" and being as literal as possible, I find it ironic that people have accepted and confidently use the phrase "rules for AI skills" when they're really more like guidelines.

If I were to do another thesis for grad school, I'd be curious how "people pleasers" are dealing with this new working relationship with AI. Do they feel compelled to agree with AI perspectives? Does groupthink come into play when working with multiple models?

I had a chance to use Fable 5 during the brief time it was available for public access and wanted I'd share my experience with it. TL;DR I did see some performance gains from Opus 4.8 (1M), but I'm not sure it was enough to justify the token cost as a whole. www.bencodezen.io/blog/my-brie...

Absolutely love this sentiment that my friend @hungsu.bsky.social said recently: "I am generally finding my best results with AI are things where I could have done them myself, eventually."
It's funny to me that the hype train around AI wants the narrative of "you don't need to code anymore" to be a reality. As if anyone who enjoys coding is insane to do so since "AI can do it."
There's definitely something magical about attending these events in-person that doesn't even remotely get captured in virtual events. I have so many good memories of all the past @vueconf.us and looking forward to creating many more this year. Hope to see y'all there!
