Yeah, THAT guy.

It's kind of fun to find ways to run animations in VR without needing to use the radial menu. Most recently was getting a tail to curl up or forward based on body positioning.

Nice thing about hanging around other artists and creators in VR: Inspiration and incentive to really knuckle down and not half-ass my avatars and texturing. There's also some downsides to that, but.. eh.

Yesterday's accomplishments: First draft of the Furality Ultra designs for for my kobold avatar. These are just the default clothes built into the avatar; still need to do the bodysuit and some proper pants.

Oh, and finally said fuckit to overleaf, installed a local LaTeX editor/compiler, and finally fixed my fancy resume. Now to copyedit it and figure out how to add 'furry webcomic sysadmin' under recent projects without making it weird..

Achievements today: fixed the Housepets comic archive (again), hopefully I didn't break *more* stuff by doing so, cleaned up the import script for future updates, rigged the drawstrings on my vrchat kobold avatar's hoodie and added an animation so they pull the hood up when tugged...

Interesting. Bluesky's image uploader soils itself when used from Firefox on MacOS. ... inconveniently, about the only time I want to upload images is when I'm on my laptop.

Okay, anybody else having bizarre issues with posting media? Apparently, bsky freaks out on still-image gifs (whaddaya want, it was scanned in '02!) and after converting it to both png and jpg, renders them as solid blocks.

I just thought my feed was being suspiciously wholesome for weeks until I finally went poking around in the settings and found the filter settings. Y'all are horny, and I'm all for it.
