With George Lombard Jr., 26th overall in 2023 MLB Draft, homering in his MLB Debut at age 21 last night for Yankees, decided to look at Orioles picks from first three rounds in 2023 and 2024 drafts to see where folks are and meh.

This team has a 116.4 total WAR and a 123-39 record??! This game is so infuriatingly rigged. I’ve had teams with WAR in low 90s get 130+ wins.

Baseball is just such a fundamentally different game than it used to be. Like, what do you mean 1974 NL Cy Young Award winner Mike Marshall pitched 208.1 innings over 106 games out of the Dodgers' bullpen? LA hasn't had a starter throw that many innings in 11 years.
