The New York Yankees are finalizing a deal to acquire outfielder Heliot Ramos from the San Francisco Giants, sources tell ESPN. Yankees have been seeking right-handed bats, and if the deal clears medicals, Ramos will provide it. @Ken_Rosenthal first linked Ramos to New York.

The Giants will take half the money owed to Robbie Ray, including half the $1 million assignment bonus, in the trade to San Diego. They get Joniel Hernandez, a 17 year old SS from Cuba who got a $1.4 million bonus in Jan. and RHP Miguel Mendez, who was a top-5 prospect in SD system.
