It would appear the JRTC Podcast has been removed from YouTube just as my episode was coming up in the queue. This is an incredible disappointment and a disservice to everyone who wanted to see what a worn out BCT S2 looks like on camera only six hours after SOBE.

THE Ohio State University Alum. Runner. Military Historian. Dad of 4. The odds are never in my favor.
Not sure I’ve ever needed anything more than I need CFB season to start.
When I said I wanted to have a French Sunday I meant a relaxing and refreshing day at home NOT my kids building barricades and declaring an end to the (in their minds) tyrannical rule of their parental oppressors.
I’ll never claim I’ve unlocked the secrets to parenting but we filled our house with books and now our kids love to read. I think there is something to that.
The wars, threats of war, and the possibility of more war need to stop. My wife and I have tickets to In the Heights in November and I’d rather not be away.
Nothing more soothing to the ears than a modest rain shower punctuated with a mid-distant thunder.
I simply need a year to do nothing but read and write and catch up TV and spend time with my kiddos. Instead I’ll probably get a Caribbean invasion or something equally as unfun.
Never a good day when you have to ask the group chat if one of your deployed buddies is still among the living (he is thankfully)
I either go see the Odyssey tonight at 11p or I don't see it in IMAX (and likely not at all in theatres). So it's either see the new hotness and be exhausted tomorrow when the kids wake up or miss out entirely. I call it Homer's Trap.
The army giving me four weeks of paid vacation just for me to have to spend 80% of it visiting my in-laws is both genius corporate management (“Oh so you hate your job? Here’s something worse”) and next level evil.
This meme is the gift that keeps on giving because it’s endlessly applicable.
One of my greatest flaws is that I love wearing white shirts even though I have four small children.
Fully participating in the corrupt bargain finally makes the US a futbol country.
It will be north of 90 degrees on Coney Island when Joey Chestnut steps out onto the world stage once against to demonstrate greatness. We know he will overcome the elements and rise to the challenge. Truly a generational talent.
Watching Hamilton with the kids and reminded how absolutely insane that 7 years after the end of the War for Independence some random kid on Washington’s general staff became Secretary of Treasury. Founding generation just built different.
This broadcast would be much better if we had Gus and Joel on the play by play and commentary. Already got Jenny on the sidelines.
I watched the new Avatar movie with the kids and while I expect these movies to be formulaic I didn’t expect it to be a Coke Zero vs Coke Zero Sugar kind of thing.
Summer vacation is wasted on children. I need 2.5 months off to relax, play golf, read great books, and otherwise be human for longer than a series of 15-minute increments.
What I like about futbol is that you can lose by not winning and win by not losing and I think that’s a great metaphor for life.
What is more American than a crowd in Seattle belting out a song about western Virginia after watching a team full of immigrants and guys with dual citizenship win in a sport invented in Europe on a day we celebrate the crushing of a treasonous rebellion and the liberation of those held in bondage?
He reminds me of my Grandfather in his 80s during his cognitive and physical decline.
