Once again I'm resorting to shameless nostalgia to unwind, and it feels good No speed-ups or cheats, just classic grinding and Gen 1 RNG in Pokémon Red Version (with a recomp) 😎

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a huge fan of the Steam Deck (and gaming handhelds in general) But no amount of verbal gymnastics could convince me it's worth the money after the recent price hikes. AI-centric megacompanies and their ilk are annihilating hobbyist computing 👎

Finding a low-profile, 75% (arrow keys but no numpad) mechanical keyboard with an ISO (British) layout for a reasonable price is more complicated than I thought. Keychron, NuPhy, LoFree, and even Logitech have options, but I'm paralyzed with choices .. any real opinions here? 🤔

Ain't that the truth. Always more things to disable with each fresh install. I'm not sure how excited I can be about Windows 12 if it's a fully agentic AI OS. Then again, I'm a tinkerer. I love tweaking and customizing my OS, so Windows will always be my daily driver 🤷‍♂️

Our Editor‑in‑Chief argues that Windows 11 isn’t the problem — Microsoft’s habit of pushing changes without asking is. From taskbar regressions to ads in File Explorer, users feel like passengers on an OS that keeps taking detours they didn’t sign up for.

"Gaming handhelds like the Steam Deck are a modern marvel, but I think they're getting way too big." Was the PSP Go an example of where we should go from here, or is that space already filled by smartphones? 🤨 OPINION:

Jump Space is fantastic so far, really enjoying this co-op PvE experience in space. It strikes a pretty perfect balance for me; not too complex but not too straightforward either. Just right. Really looking forward to seeing where this game goes. Big recommend.

My recent fascination with Casio could easily become an obsession, as I had to import it from the US and didn't hesitate. I couldn't resist that funky digital display — but I'm glad these watches are cheap! #Casio LF-20W-8ACF

I don't want to hear any disrespect towards British cuisine, at least not while these are around 😤 Don't talk to me until I've had my beanz and cheese, guys

I was somewhat obsessed with Rockstar Games' plastic bag-em-up stealth game "Manhunt" in 2007 — a video I uploaded to YouTube garnered 5.4 million views. It used to notify me daily with swaths of angry comments from outraged people who somehow had it recommended to them. Weird.

So, did anyone in my mutuals buy a Switch 2? We love playing Super Mario Party Jamboree and Mario Kart 8, and I still enjoy a bit of Switch Sports, so it's exciting to imagine what comes next. Looking for some early insights (very early, I know) 🤔

The Oblivion gates really do look incredible in TES4's remaster. I never get tired of seeing them, particularly at night It isn't AS fun to actually go inside and repeatedly run the same sigil stone gauntlet, but Virtuos did fantastic work with the visuals nonetheless

Yes, I also listen to lo-fi beats while I'm studying. Well, kind of.. sometimes I just need a full day of the same Metal Gear Solid ambience to help me work 🤔

A brand new generation of Bethesda bugs await you, traveller! As far as bugs go, this new one in Oblivion Remastered was actually pretty funny 🦀

Why don't I feel anything? Something about the Online focus of GTAV and scrapped DLC alongside Rockstar Games' infamous dev crunch has me so unbothered by even the prettiest graphics of arguably the most hyped game ever made

"All hail the combatant.. from the BLUE Team!" The adventures of Hugh Moon, the human (or perhaps a vampire now, I'm not sure), are going well now he's in the arena. Oblivion is still such fun, though I barely remember most of it.
