1997 & 1999 were banner years for #DCComics. After years of…whatever #JLTF & #ExtremeJustice was, they handed the keys to their premiere team, the #JLA to Grant Morrison & Howard Porter who brought the team into the 21st century. Grant took silver age stories but put their own cracked out pt 1

Comic-reviewer, writer, Jewish, intersectional feminist, liberal. If ur a fascist anti-Semite miss me with that bs. Love female led comics, Wonder Woman, & Kitty Pryde. Currently obsessed w/ the 80’s Marvel Comics. Especially the X-Men & Spider-Man books.
When I was a kid, Mike Deodato’s Wonder Woman was all the rage. When I re-read it as an adult, I finally saw how awful this was. Even my bootchiekat gets chafed from the spandex shorts era. #SavetheBootchieKat
Rounding out the #Trinity! What’s your 4 favorite #WonderWoman stories? Unfortunately Diana doesn’t have a whole lot of character defining stories, so I guess, other than her origin stories, what are your personal favorites? Be inventive!
4 favorite #Batman deep dive stories? Same as the Superman question. No Year One’s, Dark Knight Saga, Long Halloween, etc. Let’s also keep this to just Batman, and not those several other characters in the Bat family stable.
Favorite 4 deep dive #Superman stories? I don’t want to see the constant All-Star, Alan Moore, Death/Reign/Return stories that often bog down these topics. Be creative! Share something that’ll make others see what you saw to begin with!
“There, there, Clark. I just lost my mom, who jumped in to save me, but let’s make this all about you.”
It’s 2005 & we got the hottest thing since cornbread, #InfiniteCrisis is coming! We got 4 minis to help get us to this monumental event! #OMACProject by Rucka/Saiz, #DayofVengeance by Willingham/Justiano, #VillainsUnited by Simone/Eaglesgam & #Rann/ThanagarWar by Gibbons/Reis! Favorite story & why!
Donna Troy. Wonder Girl. Troia. Wonder Woman. The greatest Titan ever created. Art by two of the greatest artists/writers to ever touch her. The late, great George Perez, and @philjimeneznyc.bsky.social
I love this team, and this cover. I just wish I could find a higher quality scan, with no text.
Why is Brainiac and Darkseid even hanging out with these guys? So out of their weight class.
One of my biggest complaints about the lack of annual #JLA/JSA crossovers. Especially after the launch of JSA in 1999. Sure. We got Virtue & Vice by Geoff Johns, with art by the legendary Carlos Pacheco, but that was all we got. Le sigh.
Remember when @philjimeneznyc.bsky.social gave us one of the greatest post Crisis images ever created with #JLA/TITANS? Such a seminal story, that helped return the #Titans team to greatness. Written by #DevinGrayson. I really do love this story. Worth picking up, if you haven’t already.
Alex Ross might be one of the greatest artists to ever capture the essence of what the JLA really is. They’re majestic, and larger than life. They’re their own mythological pantheon of modern day gods and goddesses.
Whose dick do I have to suck for James Robinson to un-retire Jack? Can you imagine how popular he’d be with today’s comic readers?
What was your favorite creative team on the 2002-2007 run on #Hawkman\Hawgirl? Geoff Johns, James Robinson, & Rags Morales’? Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray, Ryan Sook, & Joe Bennett, or the Walt Simonson & Howard Chaykin #Hawkgirl run?
AHHHHHHHHH BETSYLOCKE IS BACK IN THAT AMAAAAAAAAAAYZING COSTUME BY DAVID MACK!!!!
One of comics greatest unsung heroes, the late, great Steve Lightle. I had the distinct privilege of meeting & befriending him via FB, & eventually met him at a con before he passed. His #Flash covers were so iconic. It’s a shame he never did a run on the interiors. Rest in power, king
Recently rewatched Batman: the Long Halloween and Hush, and I wonder how pissed off Jeph Loeb is for DC studios to fuck up both of his endings?
F* whatcha heard. The Electric Blue Superman era was really good imo. People often criticize that it was too long, but it was only for a year, which was a common practice with high profile comics at the time. Of the titles during this era, Action Comics by Immonen & Superman by Jurgens/Frens we’re ❤️
Todd McFarlane should really work to get Angela back. Marvel’s done her so god damn dirty.
Trinity at #3? Can ComicBook.com get a real #WonderWoman fan on staff over there? comicbook.com/comics/list/...
All of Wonder Woman's Successors, Ranked (Including DC's Retcon Queen)
Wonder Woman has built up an amazing family of superheroes, with some of them acting as successors to Diana.

The incomparable Dan Jurgens teamed up with superstar artists, Ron Frenz and Steve Epting, over the last few years of his run on Superman. They really put their stamp on the character. Frenz’s work on the electric blue era still remains as one of my favorites of the post Crisis era.
Anyone got a text free copy of this cover? Doing a Byrne re-read, and I really love this cover. I’d like to use it as my phone wallpaper.
I miss the fetish that is the -Men. Nobody could do it quite like Claremont
