Today we did a late Tolkien Reading Day at our Smial under this year’s theme: Unlikely Heroes! Lots of people read their Tolkien for over 3 hours and we all had soo much fun! This was everyone’s 1st ever experience of a group reading😃

We met Tolkienists from around the world at @tolkiensociety.org ‘s Tolkien Reading Day online event to read passages of our Unlikely Heroes. We made new friends and built bridges. I was lucky to meet Peter Be1mont, Ty Harnar and other precious Tolkien fans. Happy Tolkien Reading Day😊

Our Ankara Silmarillion Book club continues with new faces and the surprise LEMBAS bread made by an attendee from the LOTR Recipe Book gifted to our Turkish smial by Aslı Johnston from the @tolkiensociety.org @westmoot.org 🙂
