Ashton is 6 mile to the east of central Manchester, a bit further east than the Ethiad (formerly known as Eastlands). He grew up just 5 miles away from the stadium, in fact. And he did some of his FA training with the Manchester FA at the Etihad campus. But zero affiliation. None. Not even possible

Stephen Warnock: "A lot of Liverpool fans have started to leave. They have seen enough and they are not happy with what they have seen". What do you think they're not happy with seeing, Stephen, you colossal dickhead?
I take some comfort in knowing that Klopp's 2018-2020 team would have been 5-nil up on these chancers before half time. This, today, is a farce of existential proportions. You can only laugh about it. They'd better get their true comeuppance, the disgraceful cunts.
It's just absolutely ludicrous to see and hear pundits and commentators wax lyrical about City. They should be ashamed of themselves.
It feels like a tough ask based on the weakened line up, but a win against the cheats would be massive for the new group, the new coach to build genuine momentum. Would also take us up to 4th in the table on 12 points, just 3pts off the top. Come on Reds!
Ha ha, just seen Hendo’s goal celebration. It never changes. Goes from jogging off calm as you like (like he does this all the time) to cupping his ear at the fans to yelling a massive, angry fuck you to everyone in the ground.
I just heard that Ronald Drump isn’t impressed by this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner. Well, through an absolute wild stroke of luck, I met her today and I can tell you that Navi Pallay is actually an extremely impressive and formidable person. Everything he’s not, funnily enough.
I love this thing modern starboys do when they hit a shot 5 foot over the bar then react like it grazed the woodwork.
Vincent Kompany: “Everything we've achieved and done on the pitch I'm really proud of. Everything else, as a player you're not a part of that”. You see, lads, you ARE a part of that. Your disgusting owners made everyone else part of that too. Great players, great fans, great opponents all lost out.
Everton’s up for sale again. Anyone want to chip in towards a takeover?
We might win more league titles and all the cups and have great managers in future but I feel pretty sure we will never see another Jürgen Klopp and his fucking mentality monsters who took on and beat that prime Cheaty team. Absolute legends.

I just checked and stats tell me that, despite all the effort to become the dominant force, City have won one Champions League. One? Is that all? Was it really worth all the cheating to only win it once?
Any City player or coach who claims they knew nothing about how the club was probably being run needs to stop lying or fire their representatives - cos the agents definitely knew. Everyone knew that what was proven to be happening was probably happening.

Surely Liverpool will be looking to go in for Alex Scott now he's injured. Right in our wheelhouse.

Can't believe we've all been roped into some low-quality, zero-jeopardy, half-arsed mini-Euros tournament here.
You can tell it's not great when Klopp's laughing his head off.
If City think a High Court appeal is bound to help them, it's worth recalling that it was the High Court that decided the case against them should go ahead back in 2021, stating it was in the public interest to do so.
There definitely needs to be some scrutiny into the #PGMOL employees who were offered work in the UAE during Premier League seasons. What & how were they paid and did it affect how they approached their actual jobs? Did they do anything to help attract these offers?
This explains more than anything what it took to beat the cheats. #r4today #bbcbreakfast #MCFC #LFC #LiverpoolFC #YNWA #Redsky
Flo getting a massive Klopp hug after the game. Nice to see him smiling.
The biggest scandal to happen in football - before the latest City systematic cheating case - was when Doncaster Belles were kicked out of the WSL to make room for Man City Women FC to join the league. An absolute outrage.
Can't help feeling that this City case is going to be similar to when Trump was found guilty of 34 charges but somehow slimed out of it and became President of the USA. The City owners are on that same level.
