Congratulations @castanedalab.bsky.social on this beautiful work! 👏🏻 This is a must read for #IDP enthusiasts. We discussed this work as a preprint in our lab journal club and it was a fan favorite that provides exciting new insights into how multivalent interactions control biology.

Yeast ubiquilin Dsk2 scaffolds proteasome-containing condensates under stress via multivalent interactions – @castanedalab.bsky.social et al show how dynamic interactions among its STI1 domain & transient helices in its disordered region promote its phase-separation link.springer.com/article/10.1...

I am recruiting postdoctoral fellows to develop new research directions in the lab. We study transcriptional regulation through biomolecular condensates in development and disease, with an emphasis on first-principles and mechanistic discovery. Please repost or share with colleagues.

Hey all, I reached out to the PO of my NIGMS MIRA to ask if the gov't shut down, and rescheduling of study sections, might allow for some accommodation to the standard rule that PIs cannot resubmit a MIRA while their MIRA (or other RPG) is under review (waiting in scores or summary statements) 🧪

🎉Excited to announce that Dr. Rebecca Berlow @berlowlab.bsky.social will speak in the “Disorder in Pathogens” session at #IDPGRC2026! The Berlow lab uses solution NMR and biophysical approaches to uncover how IDP sequence, dynamics & function drive transcriptional regulation.
