My son's 9. I see all these younger kids when I pick him up from camp. It's really underscoring that he's very much a big kid now and time is gonna move even more quickly than it has been. I don't miss the little kid years, but the end parentheses to this bit of life do feel suddenly oddly in sight.

You know, I wasn't feeling that great this afternoon and I could have just stayed home tonight, but I went out and saw a show and I feel fucking great right now. It's amazing how healing it is to see live music. It's a lesson I know I already know, but I also have to relearn it every time.

I know I've been skeeting about Phish a lot the past couple weeks, so those of you who are like "whhhhhhy" will be pleased to know that Phish season has almost come to an end. And like the fabled Brigadoon, when this tour ends, my Phish tweets largely* disappear. *Largely. Not entirely. 1/

Was supposed to go see The Odyssey last night and we got there and my friend realized he somehow hadn't bought the tickets he thought he had so we were gonna have to drive across town to another theater to see it and man if that ain't exactly what's supposed to happen when you go to see The Odyssey.
