Dan Koh bought tech funds while he worked in the White House. Tram Nguyen voted for massive tax breaks for data centers that benefited her NVIDIA stock. Joh Beccia owns Palantir stock, getting rich from mass surveillance. Voters are tired of politicians and lobbyists making excuses for corruption.

LLMs are not teachers. There is growing evidence that AI is habit-forming. Of course companies want to put it in schools. It is on our government to protect children and their education. In Congress, I will ensure no federal funding goes to these unproven technologies.
This is why I call Seth Moulton’s position on trans girls in sports radical and extreme. It would change decade-old laws. It is a horrific invasion of privacy. And it tells girls that politicians have a right to their bodies. In Congress, I will stand for the privacy and dignity of all children.
An initiative on the ballot in Washington state in November would require all athletes seeking to play girl's sports from kindergarten to high school to undergo "genetic screening, a testosterone-levels test, or an examination of their reproductive anatomy" before they can play
I had a great time celebrating 400 years of Salem with North Shore Pride. The queer community has always been a staple of Salem, and I was proud to be able to help represent it.
The Massachusetts 6th District deserves representation that represents us. The Democratic Establishment is ashamed of progressive districts like ours. That’s why it got behind a centrist from the richest seat in the district. In Congress, I will be as progressive as we are.

I am running for Congress to regulate AI. People using robots should at least have to follow the same laws as the rest of us.
I find it fascinating that if I tell Claude to hack my fake Bank of America website and it instead, in classic LLM fashion, hallucinates and hacks the real one then there is no law that addresses this? Quite the loophole. I wonder what other crimes are legal as long as you get an LLM to do it?
Crypto lets finance escape oversight & responsibility. RealT bought up homes & sold fractional shares to overseas investors. It failed to do basic maintenance. Detroit sued. Now it is selling them all. RealT never intended to be a good landlord. This is my opponent’s idea of “innovation”.
If a politician isn’t willing to challenge corruption when it is entirely safe, how can they possibly meet this moment?
People don’t have to pay attention to everything Trump does to see the results. Wars of aggression help no one. In Congress, I will stand against them all. bethfordemocracy.com
Each year America should get a little infrastructure, as a treat.
OpenAI: “an internal evaluation which prompts models to pursue advanced exploitation using complex attack paths” Translation: “We told it to hack, and it hacked!” Calling the computer “rogue” for doing exactly what you told it to is silly.
Calling this a “rogue agent” is misleading. This software was instructed to do this by a person. It shouldn’t have done as it was told, but it was still told. These tools let more people do more crimes with less skill. They are still tools being used for a task they were built to do.

The tech firm is Modal. Their executives emphasized that it was one of their clients, not them, that was hacked. www.reuters.com/business/ope...
Last night was the North Andover debate for MA-06. My opponent Tram Nguyen reached out to Super PACs on the debate stage, saying they would “level the playing field” for her. I am serious about not coordinating. Even if that isn’t “fair”. Funded entirely by folks like us: bethfordemocracy.com

Happy Disability Pride Month! In Congress, I will secure funding to support people living with disabilities, and make sure they are seen and represented.
Democracy should control dangerous technologies, not corporations.
Last night my opponent was asked how he would overturn Citizen’s United. He said he would pass a law. The format didn’t let anyone point out that that doesn’t work. I didn’t get to share my answer: I propose strip jurisdiction over campaign finance from the Supreme Court. Because that can work.
The subsidies for just one data center in New York would completely cover the cost of all five of Mamdani’s grocery stores.
All LLM models can do bad things. Some are more likely to do bad things than others. All of them will do some bad things. Congress should have the model operators take legal responsibility, instead of trying to micromanage which models get released.
Republicans are once again attacking service members and their families for being trans: spartapride.org/2026/07/pres... Trans people deserve better. We are not political props. In Congress, I will fight for everyone serving our country.

Thank you to the Essex County Community Organization for hosting an excellent candidate conversation.
Wednesday night, at the Lynn ICE Vigil, we mourned the people murdered and our neighbors that have been kidnapped. I was heart broken hearing stories from families about their loved ones had been abducted by ICE.
Green data centers create more jobs. Without spending billions of your dollars on subsidies. Regulation is good for everyone but the speculators. We need federal action. That’s why I am running for Congress: bethfordemocracy.com

When people call us names, it is usually a compliment. I’m a socialist? Yeah, my municipal electric company is awesome! I’m a liberal? Sure, I support abortion care & trans people. I’m a political outsider? Absolutely. At my job we had to build useful things together.
This is what is possible when politicians care about building a good government.
NYC’s small business owners have said it over and over: endless paperwork and uncertainty has made getting their stores up and running too difficult. So we’re cutting red tape, eliminating redundant permits (did you know you need a permit just to serve some ice cream?), and speeding up inspections.
It was great to see everyone at the Salem Dem City Committee fundraiser. So many people determined to help protect our democracy!
Trump is once again going after Canada. He announced even more tariffs, raising prices and hurting our economy. Congress is responsible for tariffs. In Congress I will do the job and defend Canadian and American businesses from Trump’s attacks.
Thank you for hosting us, teaCAMILLA! I had so many important conversations, and I'm thankful for everyone that came out.
