The House isn’t merely failing to stand up to Trump - it has become complicit in attempts to dismantle democratic institutions, undermine free/fair elections, and concentrate power in the executive branch - by walking away from its constitutional responsibility to govern and provide oversight.

Trump and Hegseth have built a chain of command that rewards sycophancy over competence, and punishes candor when the truth gets in the way. Since the facts have become inconvenient, they are reportedly using taxpayer dollars to hire political influencers to shape public perception.

America’s strength has always come from people of different backgrounds contributing to the same democratic promise. Turning that diversity into a reason to exclude or demean fellow Americans is a deeply troubling departure from those principles.
