Queensland Rail is putting a major frequency reduction in place from Tuesday the 5th of May until further notice, which will see peak train trips heavily reduced. BTQ understands that this is due to recent industrial action resulting in a backlog of trains which require servicing.

MAJOR TRAIN FREQUENCY REDUCTION

PEAK FREQUENCY REDUCED TO EVERY 30 MINUTES on the Beenleigh, Doomben, Rosewood, Shorncliffe, and Sunshine Coast lines

PEAK FREQUENCY REDUCED TO EVERY 15 MINUTES on all other lines
