One thing I learned growing up in Ohio + moving back a couple times as an adult: It was only ever a swing state b/c of labor rights. Even Sherrod let me down when it came to human rights issues. Top of mind though, seeing this today, is just how upset I am for my friends still there (again).

My neighborhood has been in a constant state of construction since May. As annoying as it’s been, I’ll kind of miss these warm summer nights when it has felt a little (A LOT) like walking through an 80s sci-if movie. ❤️

This is such a satisfying hate read for fellow Adobe users! I have fully switched to the free version of DaVinci Resolve and love it, but am still stuck in the Adobe ecosystem. Tried Affinity for a month and it just can't yet replace what I do w/my current Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom setup.

I went on the worst blind date in the history of San Diego Magazine. SO horrible that they ended up giving me $600 in gift certificates to local restaurants. But I *did* get to surf the wave machine at Wave House - highlight of the night by a nautical mile - and made friends with the photographer.
