The best time to share an opinion is when you have really strong feelings about something but limited info. That's the sweet spot.

My mum died this week. She was going to celebrate her 70th birthday this year. She showed me that it’s okay to be yourself, to stand firm in your convictions, and gave me a thirst for learning. There aren’t enough words.
Just forgot the word for “priest” in conversation and referred to them as “male nuns” if you want to know where I’m at.
A stranger asked me where I got my cardigan and I told her, then had the pleasure of saying “and look, it’s got pockets!” and have her do the customary “ooooo!”
Time just passes so fast now. Like it's almost Christmas. That's insane.
My favourite part of working in games is how unhinged some work conversations sound out of context. Someone just said 'Orcas are wolves of the sea!' and it was a completely valid contribution.
I'm on my 4th watch of Shogun and I'm willing to say that it's the best tv series of all time.
Oh, what do I do for fun? I'm an amateur anthropologist (I watch real housewives)
No one tells you that as a parent, your kids hit a certain age then they start clocking your shit. I was just speed walking through the house and Eden was like "are you late for work?" - girl yes, shhh
Just rewatched The Terminator for the first time since I was 6. Found out where my lifetime recurring nightmares came from. Good to know, good to know
I’m now at the age my older sister is in my mind’s eye and the other day I got a jump scare getting into my car, thinking she’d snuck up behind me. No, it was my reflection.
me after making a perfect list that puts me in full control of the problem
Not sure if this is a hot take but I sometimes see people talk about moderation as the central spine of community management. Moderation is to community management what taking the trash out is to being a chef. It’s part of the equation for sure but it’s not really the thing.
I had a dream about the Mothman and woke up in a really good mood. I'm going to store that in the memory bank for the next time someone asks me to tell them about myself.
Someone needs to teach me how to end sentences. The start of my sentences are super clear and I can make a great point but it basically ends then I don't know how to stop it and then so yeah that's sort of it so
My least favourite meme of all time was the 'it is wednesday my dudes' toad and how it would get posted every single week. In New Zealand it was always Thursday. IT WAS ALWAYS THURSDAY!!!!
Sometimes when I talk about my thoughts on community management, people call me idealistic but I'm actually really proud to have made it this far without getting jaded or losing my hope in the goodness of things.

We're just two days away from revealing Arkheron! While this is the first time the world gets to see it, we've been quietly playtesting for a while now. We are super grateful to everyone who has tried it so far and helped us get it ready for our upcoming Alpha. Thank you!
I'm toying with the idea of giving up coffee so I tried a matcha latte for the first time and it was like a piece of spinach threw up in my mouth. What's that about? How do you come to enjoy that? I might just switch to decaf coffee.
When I was 20 my anxiety was so bad it was hard to do some ordinary things, the pinnacle of which was going to the post office. I just got back from the post office and realised it was exactly ordinary. It’s not a huge thing, just a nice reminder of how things change over time.
Constantly awed by what's considered news-worthy in New Zealand
Sometimes I feel like Superman but only so far as taking off my glasses and feeling unrecognizable.
I've been thinking about the games industry a bit and I think maybe where some studios go wrong is in attempting to commodify their community and forgetting that they're providing a service TO the community first and foremost.
