How is this not campaigning, something that isn’t allowed on an election day. No doubt he’ll be referred to the electoral commission who’ll give him a pathetic slap on the wrist.
Zack Polanski@zackpolanski.bsky.social · 2d agoVoting is open until 10pm in Holborn & St Pancras - and remember to take photo ID. Rent controls, water nationalisation, tackling the climate crisis - I'll be pushing on these issues from inside Parliament. Vote Green 💚
We are speaking to Mikey’s family about a fitting tribute at an upcoming match. In the meantime, supporters are welcome to leave tributes by our cup winners statue at the front of the stadium 💛💙
What must former Croatian defender Slaven Bilić be thinking of his team’s defensive display?
Bye bye Ronaldo. You were (note past tense) a great player in an average team. Now you’re not even an average player in an average team. That’s a shame, as you should have retired with us remembering what you did rather than what you’re trying to achieve.
I’m watching Andy Burnham’s Labour conference speech, and the emotional mentions of his dad who recently died. Oh at least he didn’t mention his dad was a toolmaker 😁
Maybe the blank armbands could say “Free Palestine” on them. Come on Ireland. Show the football authorities what you and the country really think about a Palestinian state.
Anyone who thinks this is a sensible decision, clearly does not understand Northern Ireland politics or history.

I do wonder what goes through someone’s mind to leave a train like this.
This is great to see, but as long as he has the support of Trump nothing will change.

Feeling more than a little hoarse this morning. Can’t think why 😜 but at least that sham in Bucks know that they’re the worst excuse for a football team.
One of the advantages of living in a detached house is the ability to tune the music up load when a banger comes on. Take it away Van 😁 youtu.be/vVfpJzOM05g?...

Could Reform organise a piss up in a brewery? On this evidence it’s a massive “No!” Courtesy of the latest Private Eye available at all good newsagents 😁
Wow! A selll out for a midweek game that’s on the TV. Come on you (real) Dons. Let’s do this!

A nicely worded response by the club to the absurdity of having to replay the game. Crystal Palace had asked for the game to be postponed, but were told to proceed. The problem isn’t with either club, but with the daft rules.

Ah the good old Irish sense of humour comes to the fore when it comes to statues. Can we make it permanent?

Just a thought… could the £72m donations never materialise? Are they just a headline to get positive news in the media after one of the worst weeks in the Reform party’s history?
I’m meeting Rob Smith at the game today. For those who don’t know him, Rob was a sports journalist on The Times for many years and an ardent Wimbledon fan, before moving back to Oz with his family. I’m sure he’d love to hook up with fellow fans from down under upstairs after the game.
I’m wearing my new home top to the game today. I love the sky blue goalkeeper top, and don’t think the red third kit should even exist, so it’s the classic blue and yellow for me.
Supporters are advised that there are ongoing roadworks in the area surrounding the Cherry Red Records Stadium 🚧 Please allow extra time for your journey today, Dons 👍 See you soon! 💛💙
What you don’t get from the official highlights reel is just how good a header Jayden’s goal was.

Whilst running in the rain today, a young man sheltered in a doorway shouted out encouragement as a passed. It made me think back 40 years when you were more likely to get some heckled abuse. How times have changed.
