No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

Level 4 is set in deep mountainous caves with a heavy, almost oppressing theme. kept the most of it unchanged and just added breaks & extended. The real trick,as with all levels, was to only use 3 tracks as the 4th will be regularly taken over for sound effects... and keep it well under 200kb

The player start theme when first starting the game is an intense fast adventure inducing piece. I kept it rather intact structurally just with instruments and drum ensembles so it feels a bit more cinematic :)

between the level, simple cut scenes would show the characters going from one ruin to the next.Typically a mishap of comical nature would occur along with a playful 10 second ditty. No arrangement needed.I just wanted to add a little more bounce & make the instruments a bit happier than a square wave

When entering the boss room a single loop of a couple of seconds plays until you pick up an item. It's just there to set the mood and gives a sense of timeless quiet & emptiness just before the boss fight. I use to pause there and catch my breath before the fight so I decided to flesh it out a bit.

The stage select in Treasure of USAS had a cool interactive vibe where you walked your character over 3 screens to 1 of 5 stages in a level. I extended the short ditty as to make it a bit more adventurous . Channel 4 is expendable and can be muted when player triggered sound effects are needed
