Whoa this I did not see coming, especially after the layoff news: @bandcamp implemented the subsonic API so you can take your Bandcamp collection to open-source media players & infrastructure. I just set it up in seconds Honestly pretty cool, curious what this means for them

Finally got cross-client login & sync working for Unstream! What this means: - anyone can create a user account on Unstream, not just artists - you can save artists you want to support on the web app, and those sync to your mac app / browser extension / other devices (1/2)

When you next sign in to Buffer, you might notice you land in Home. This is the new hub for all your social activity. 🏡 Home brings elements of each area of Buffer into a single view: - Your posting streak, goals, and comment score - Your next 3 scheduled posts (there's more!)

I've been quiet about @buffer.com stuff! Well I have something to share today: we shipped a home screen for our web app 🏠 This was a fun project to work on because it's not a flashy new *feature*, but rather a new hub that brings together Buffer's tightly-integrated social toolkit. Here's mine!

It seems that Bandcamp has changed something on their end which is blocking Bandcamp artist pages from showing in Unstream’s search results (unless you’ve verified your page or have data listed in the Musicbrainz database). I’m investigating some options to resolve this. Stay tuned.

You probably haven’t heard it but my last album is kind of an ode to being an artist on the internet in 2025-2026 My goal was to clarify for myself how I feel about some things, and my secondary goal was for you to feel something

It's fun that Unstream is becoming a trusted directory for independent artists & the best ways to support them. This is part of my vision: to make it as clear and easy as possible who know you are listening to, the fact that they're a real artist/band, and that they deserve your support.

imagine if someone was like "I'm an AI parent, I imagined everything about my child and had AI give birth to it and raise it into adulthood and I'm so proud of them and I'd love for you to meet them"

It was an absolute pleasure speaking with product manager, indie musician, and writer, @bgreen.lol. We got the opportunity to learn about his unique background, music career as Kid Lightbulbs, and the inspiring actions he takes to uplift his fellow artists. buttondown.com/blog/brandon...
