Transfers and hire always seem to take a while, but you would think there’d be some lads-in-training pics or something.

Even though it’s weird that not one journalist or rumor mill even mentioned Jaissle’s name today, I still assume this is the likely situation. No announcement tomorrow morning and I’ll start to sweat a bit.

I love Eddie Howe, he was amazing and I’ll always believe he was largely a victim of his own success. But what am I feeling mostly about #NUFC as I sit here tonight? I’m honestly kind of excited. New young players, new young manager. Lower your expectations and strap in. It will be fun!

Several good #NUFC journalists have said this, but I just don’t believe that Muñoz and Manzambi were the straws that broke Howe’s back. No serious ⚽️ people would see young players like that and think “we just can’t succeed without them.” That’s fan shit.

I keep imagining #nufc landing in Spain today, except there’s no grownups there to tell them what to do and them just milling about. Somebody might actually get left at the airport this year. 😂

You know how when you’re playing a dungeon crawler kind of game, and you get killed and lose all your stuff, and it sucks, but building it all back up is actually the most fun part of the game? That’s #NUFC now. Some trials ahead, but also lots of exciting young pieces. Try to enjoy it and have fun!

According to the interweb, Jaissle likes a 4-3-1-2 with a huge role for a 10. I’m not smart enough to speculate on the effects. Woltemade behind Wissa and Osula? Can Barnes play up front in a 2? What does the midfield 3 look like in this kind of formation? Interesting times ahead. #nufc

I started following #NUFC in the summer of 2021, just before the takeover. Eddie is basically the only Newcastle manager I’ve known. He’s given me so many memories in my short ⚽️ fandom. I’m a bit emotional about this.

He didn’t address the team? The timing is unfortunate, you have to admit. Hopefully it doesn’t affect Hornicek or other arrivals. Bruno probably off for sure now.
