…Anyway, since the adaptation starring Maitreyi has been nixed for yet another unnecessary one that brings nothing fresh to Pride and Prejudice, reminder that I wrote TWO Austen-inspired (in the looser sense, so the plot can still surprise you) romcoms with South Asian (specifically 🇧🇩🇺🇸) heroines!

I adore these pieces of Bibi and Sohel from ALWAYS BE MY BIBI, my YA romcom starring a fashionista who travels to a tea estate in Bangladesh for her older sister’s wedding, only for romance to brew between her and the groom’s brother. The first is by Pluto Vonspace, the second by Thar Chandran!
