The 2027 New Scholars application is now open! Each year, three New Scholars receive a cash award of $1,000, a $500 travel stipend and the opportunity to present their work. Apply by 16 September 2026. BSA membership is not required for New Scholars Program applicants. Link in bio to learn more.

We are excited to share this update from recipient of the 2025 Reese Fellowship for American Bibliography and the History of the Book in the Americas, Mitchell Edwards! Learn more about his project, Movement Literatures in the Postwar U.S. Literary Field, by swiping through the images.
