Strangehaven Vol. 2 TPB: Brotherhood (Abiogenesis). I'm not sure what is engaging to me about this series, but I need to see it through, even if the plot is paper thin and the realism illustrations are, frankly, ugly, stilted, and really crank up the melodrama and ham. #comicsky

Camelot Eternal #5-8 (Caliber). Finished this on a recent international flight. I thoroughly enjoyed this series despite having very little knowledge of Camelot, King Arthur, and the Knights of the Roundtable. Can't really go wrong with B+W, hand-lettered J. Calafiore comics from this era. #comicsky
Strangehaven Vol. 1: Arcadia TPB (Abiogenesis). This book is quite odd, but weirdly engaging, with a slow burn mystery mixed with a myriad of side stories in a small town. The combination of illustration, paintings, and photos doesn't really work for me. Still have Vol. 2 and 3, though! #comicsky

Poison Elves: Desert of the Third Sin TPB (Sirius). As amateurish as some of Drew Hayes' art feels (and in most cases that's actually what I admire about it), I don't think anyone draws better heavily clad Elves dripping with layers of armor and amulets with rows of weaponry. #comicsky #poisonelves
