Had a colonoscopy this morning because I'm 50 and that's what old people do. Was planning on sitting around all afternoon and watching the game but I actualy feel fine so my wife said why don't you just go to the game instead. So that's what I'm doing. See you in the bleachers in about an hour.

If I think I'm hearing a farfisa organ in a song... Even if I'm not sure but there's a good chance...I'm going to say to whoever is with me "I think that's a farfisa". You can count on that.

I'm worried about becoming a guy into Zappa I don't think it's a good idea but the most recent @500songspodcast.bsky.social has me intrigued and I've listened to Hot Rats like 3 times in the last few days and I'm scared that I'm going to go down a Zappa rabbit hole if I'm not careful.

Whenever the bad guys do something bad don't let it get to you. That's what they're supposed to do because they're the bad guys. Instead try to ignore it and watch a baseball game or something. That's what I do. It doesn't help though and we're all screwed.

I'm thinking about starting to slouch in my chair at work from now on. Sliding down and leaning back with my neck all kinked in a weird way. Sitting here with the worst possible posture. Slowly sinking down into the chair like a pile of dirty laundry. Yeah I'm gonne be a big time slouch guy.

I'm at work (bad) and just had a meeting (usually bad), but it was outside (good). I recommend going outside whenever possible because outside is good, and inside at work is bad. Good is better than bad.

It's starting to feel like the Cubs don't want to entertain my children by doing fun baseball things while we're at the baseball game.

I'm at Wrigley with the boys and we did stand for the anthem but only because we were still walking to our seats at the time and sitting in the concourse would have been weird.

Wrigley Field

Netflix needs to get Jimothy and that orphaned monkey with the stuffed animal teamed up for a new variety show or something if they want to boost their viewership numbers.

The Cubs surely don't want to be part of a maga story about "patriotism" and the fan that got hit probably doesn't want to deal with an angry maga mob coming after him and ricketts probably agrees with the jackass that hit him anyway so they're all probably just hoping the story goes away.
