To get to school, my daughter bikes down Glen Carlyn Dr in Culmore. There's a bike lane, but most days it's blocked by at least one @fcpsky.bsky.social school bus (parked). Today, the bike lane was also blocked by a Fairfax Police cruiser (parked) Do better @fairfaxcounty.gov

Sigh. Rivian's micromobility arm will produce e-bikes -- as well as autonomous bots that cyclists have to maneuver around. Bike lanes are for people. Seems obvious, but cities may need new laws to ensure it's clear.

Going through vacation photos and it's about 1/3 infrastructure, 2/3 my kid/the exchange program. Lol
