I remember when the GOP swore IDs for gun ownership were tyranny, because the Constitution protects that right, and you can’t compare it to a driver’s license which is not in the Constitution. Now they want voter ID and say, It’s just like a driver’s license. But voting is in the Constitution.

ICE didn’t appear out of nowhere. It sits in a long American lineage of policing designed to control labor, movement, and belonging, especially for Black and Brown people. The parallels to 18th–19th century slave patrols aren’t rhetorical. They’re structural.

“International law applies to everyone.” Reality: It’s enforced selectively. Threats or strikes against Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, or Mexico get statements. Not consequences.

I believe nothing will come out of the UN, NATO, or EU in response to Venezuela.
GOP members are trying to frame U.S. actions toward Venezuela as a replay of Panama 1989. That analogy doesn’t hold—legally, politically, or internationally. This all leads back to Project 2025.
I’m certain the “Average American” will strongly disagree with the rhetoric and language coming from the right, but on the other hand will challenge every proposal and plan from the left.
