I wish I knew how to discuss eating disorders openly without seeming unapproachable. They’re so oversimplified, particularly anorexia. I’m tired of seeing illustrations of a gaunt woman looking in the mirror and viewing herself as larger, and yes, it’s always a woman. 🫠

Always encourage beginner artists! It will help them keep going, their love for art growing, and maybe one day you’ll see them again, making art for your favorite piece of media, teaching others art, or making people smile with their work. :)
