I game. Mostly. Read the news. Do computer stuff. Enjoy animated media. Fuck AI and the associated slop. Otherwise I'm basically floatsam in life and consequently too boring to be of interest. Oh. And I support people. Not hate. Just saying. ☮️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈👁️‍🗨️🌐🆒🎮🧠🫦🦾

Being told I can't be upset, sad or cry by a client at work. Fuck you. I'm in mourning over a sweet, special someone who I miss dearly. This is why society is fucked. .... Being told how we can or can't feel. Fuck you, Karen.

I hate when you can't find service manuals for systems. Like come the fuck on. .... Oh well. No ssd upgrade for the Dell 7202. It's a nightmare to open and I'm not going to risk it. One more return...

This weekend I'll have to say good bye to a furry room mate. The sweetest puppy. Shes such an angel, with stars in her eyes. Sweet and lovely and such a welcome sight to come home to. I am going to miss her. But there comes a point where you have to say good bye... And it sucks.

Yeah I'm just gonna clean my office this weekend. Then see about finding a small, all wood folding table to use as a pop up workbench. I need the space and the surface area. My poor LabBox and Packy have sat unfinished and I really just need to get that all done. Projects complete = good sleep.

Yeah I'm too exhausted for today. Can I get a pass and try again tomorrow? ... Oh right I work for a company with no sick leave or PTO because it's the best I could get at the time in a red state... ... How people are okay with this blows my fucking mind... ... Time to dig out an energy drink..

Today is slowly turning into one of those late 90s to mid 2000s Maxis style Jazz days ... .... I mean really, my phone keeps popping out SimCity4 and Sims jazz tracks like they're going out of style. Not that I mind. It's catchy stuff. Simply odd at how the RNG is doing it.

It's okay to say no sometimes. Sometimes you have to say no. You may not want to say no, but sometimes it's the only appropriate answer. And in some instances... The best help you can give someone IS to tell them no... .... Confidence is hard.

The thunderstorm last night was so gnarly. But then you wake up to reality. The GOP is, allegedlies, getting sick of Hegseth. Fucker is still fucking. Shit doesn't look better. ... And I still feel like a semi-functional idiot...

Living in a red state, coming from a blue state. Been here a year. Have to bite my tongue on the constant. Surrounded by the hypocrisy and blind theist devotion. And on and on. People get so blind to reality because they're too busy regurgitating the kool-aid. No one thinks for them self...

I find I keep asking myself, in my head, "What do you want?" And it stops me every single time... It's probably something that should greatly concern me but... I mean there's not a damn thing I can do about anything right now...

I need to like win the lottery and some junk so I can go back to school full time and like. But groceries. Or something. .... But really being a perpetual student doesn't sound like such a bad idea lately. e.e

Spent the day diagnosing a desktop all the way down. Error after error. Running down every last hardware demon till the only possible culprit left was the CPU. Which sucks. It's a $380 replacement but. It's also a slight upgrade for the client and they're just glad it's pinned down... ...So tired

That moment you're doing your finances and see that the big order you put in on a gift card? Somehow all for fucking charged to your credit card instead. Meaning all that stuff now has to go back and be repurchased. Ffs....

The one thing I love about personal build projects, is it always turns into a technical dive. In this case the differences in RAID, SAS and HBA cards. Also the fact I'm, weirdly, using tech from the mid 2010s to build this thing because it's weirdly more cost available. Lol I just need $5k cash.

That moment you decide to build your own NAS upgrade from scratch and need to find.a decent Intel Atom or comparable modern board with low power use but all the specs you need to make this potential work... .... Makes me wish I could get out the laptop at work. e.e
