It's hard to say you feel hopeless about something when people just handwave your feelings away.

Have a potential path forward to freedom from a situation in my life that has kept me stuck and unhappy for the last 6 years. It’s very much “hurry up and wait”, but I know I’m stuck in this current holding pattern at least until the end of the calendar year. 🫩 It’s honestly exhausting.
