TODAY'S PROBLEMS—Muslim migrants seek asylum/safety here but hate our way of life/ values—& are unwelcome & hated by us. Women need protection from men including transwo men, so have women's toilets. Transwo men are also scared of men, but don't have transwo men toilets
To keep things simple, forget using words like "ban", eg —Women's sports are exclusive to women: women only —Women's sports do not include men or transgender, transmen, transwomen, horses or trees etc—only women. This is not terfy or anti-trans or anti-men or anti-anything
Has anyone here been to the Tate in London to see the big Frida Khalo exhibition? Any good?

I believe that people can see things differently, it just take a little imagination
Every TV news show asks survivors or relatives "How do you feel?" & they deliver the exact same teary performance they learned from TV news over the years. & everyone already knows how they feel, we've all seen it many times before. Why not let them alone?
Every country everywhere is reactive now. It's a template. Something bad happens. There are calls for something to be done. People know the reactions they must have, they crying on camera, the protests, the vigils, the piles of flowers. It's knee-jerk now. Rendered meaningless
If people were honest with themselves, they wouldn't be far right or left. This identity politics is what is holding us all back. The refusal to let it go & to reframe & focus on getting safety, happiness & prosperity (however it's achieved) as the goal is the problem
Most sensible people would want a minimum govt. Fewer civil servants & few expenses, but not bare minimum—defence, border control, health & food & energy security need to be first class. That's a great blend of right wing & left wing plus Green. Sadly, we have left/right crap yet
Either people want a great country that is happy, prosperous, safe & working openly—or—they want to beat their political opponents to death for their side/ party to prevail whatever the human cost...
2 people go for a meal. Each orders what they want. They eat some of each other's food. The bill is split 50/50. ...now you understand how Socialism & Capitalism can co-exist without friction. How natural it is to see things differently from right wing & left wing!
There once was a Socialist working class, with trades unions fighting Capitalist companies for fair play & equal rights. Companies were Nationalised! That was back when politics was left wing versus right wing. Today is nothing like that. Why do so many refuse to accept this?
The UK govt is a complex thing. There're overseas territories & possessions, devolved assemblies, the commonwealth, NATO, WHO, UN etc. Only an idiot would (want to) see this in terms of far right or far left.
Far right, centrist and far left have worn out their meaning. They offer no more than a stubborn refusal to want happiness & prosperity. People who use those labels, especially proudly, have made them an identity. Indoctrination has happened. It's not a free choice as a result
It's not "centrist" to understand that a good & proper, well-functioning society requires a bit of left & right, a blend for pragmatism at the very least. With the far right & left you get what you wish for, but you also get a bunch of stuff that you really, really, don't want
Why does the idea of right wing & left wing politics yet prevail? This construct hasn't made sense or been of usefulness since the 1970s
It doesn't matter if you are the new PM; The govt is closed until 1st September 2026. All MPs are on holiday www.parliament.uk/about/faqs/h...
Why do people think their data is owned by them just because it's about them?
NO winners this week! {shame!} It was Suzi Quatro's "48 crash"

Jeremy Clarkson should start a new popular political party. He could call it Refarm Britain...
