quick announcement I wanted to make regarding my projects

The past few months I've been feeling so incredibly dissatisfied with my creative output that it's been outright stressing me out. I felt for my own sanity I need to make some kind of change to what I'm doing. Here's the rundown:

Right now, Bionic Block Asimov, my indie cartoon, is going to be my main priority. I've been neglecting it for the latter half of the year for some reason, and I need to get my ass in gear and work on it more. Every other project is going to be deprioritized. I have a whole batch of ideas for it, and the desire to revitalize it more, but I haven't gotten things put together to showcase it all too well yet. I hope to alleviate that as soon as possible.

Artificzation is going on indefinite hiatus. I have one more piece I intend to finish before I halt it for good, but after that I intend to not do anything with it for an extended period of time. As much as I love making them, I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea, and the base-level thematic similarities to BBA have confused a few people who have been following my work, so I think for the sake of making things easier to follow its better I keep it far to the side for now. I also don't want it to be the thing I'm mainly known for. It was intended to be a smaller project that just expanded from passion from a group of friends, not my main work.

I also have some other projects I either need to elaborate upon or outright cancel. I was having vague plans of a revival of my 2016 Undertale AU project "Rewind," intending to retool it into a more original story. I am no longer going forward with this, as the work and time would much better be placed towards BBA. I also have my "Alterside Archives" media alternate history project. That is typically just done sporadically anyway, so it will stay as such.

I'm also needing to contribute more to my friends' projects I am involved with; being CRiTORA, Plush Pals, and Louie & Friends. I do still intend to continue making small contributions to ShiftaS…

Happy #IndieAnimationDay, everyone!! And we finally have SOMETHING to show this time!! Introducing some new style changes and character design updates!! Check the alt text! Me and the team have been cooking stuff up, and our goal is to have first episode out by the end of 2026!! #BionicBlockAsimov

There are a few slight adjustments to the character designs at their core, along with some general refinements to the line art and coloring, but the biggest change is how the Robodroids are gonna be drawn from here on out, with fully articulated limbs and more noticable mechanical/metallic features, such as their necks and small holes for certain joints. We're also doing away with sensors, the little antenna devices near their ears, since they were just a hassle to draw and keep consistent.

Finally time for another character bio! Meet Athena, Kimberly and Tariq's more "robot-y" sister unit! #BionicBlockAsimov #IndieAnimation #IndieCartoon #robotgirl #robotoc

Out of the three Anamali siblings, Athena doesn't get out as much as her sister and brother does, and never really had the desire to. As such, she's retained a lot more of her original programming than them, and is much less expressive and emotive. She's a very robot-y robot to put it simply. A lot of things are more difficult for her, so when she doesn't feel strongly about something or other, she'll often just keep quiet and not say much, especially around strangers. Her primary assignment at the Museum of Wonders is teaching about environmentalism. Stuff like reuse/reduce/recycle and all that, so naturally she can be rather opinionated about some things, primarily how other people act and how their choices affect those around them. She often gets into scuffles with her siblings about their crazy antics, being both annoyed at their fascination for trouble and worried for their well-being. Believe it or not, she's probably closer to Kimberly than Tariq is. She confides in Kimberly when she needs comfort or someone to be around, and just wants her to stick to the right path. It's hard not to see her as a stick in the mud, but she just wants everyone to be safe in the end.
