Had a brilliant day out on the moor near crown point , such a beautiful habitat , Lancashire is a wonderful county. Long eared owl heard and seen was a first for me with both juvenile and adult in the local area . Photo to follow as it’s been a long day . The downside was an outbreak of winged ants

Had a great morning with the long tailed shrike today , it performed admirably. Thanks to the guys I spoken to for the photo tips etc , made for a brilliant addition to my uk life list , a bird I thought I would never catch up with after the Fife bird departed . Keep well everyone, 👍🏻

What a brilliant day spent down in Norfolk looking for the black winged kite . It gave us a run around for a couple of hours before it was finally clocked in a tree long enough for us to get in situ and scope it properly. Lifer for me ✅. Good numbers of common crane and white fronted geese,Bad pic

A bit late to the party but managed to connected with the rate booted eagle today down near Penzance , Cornwall . Tiring journey of 300 miles each way , didn’t get the crippling views some had but good enough and a well deserved lifer ✅.
