Fortune's Weave looks cool but I kinda don't like the direction that Fire Emblem has been going in of giving you a million things to do between the main maps. I liked a lot of things about 3H but that game was so exhausting to play. I only ever did 2 routes

fuck I know I said I would watch a mecha series that people have actually heard of next but I really wanna rewatch kaiba now Kaiba is so good I'm just thinking about it bc that's also an example of posthumanist sci-fi in anime
I finished another mecha anime today!! Geneshaft was actually quite good. There were a lot of bad directions I thought it might be going in but ultimately I think it manages to land and have something meaningful to say. And the robot is very freaky and weird!!

R3 LAYZNER Other than a few color inaccuracies, it looks great. Very nice proportions... but the articulation is kinda terrible. The joints are all stiff and creaky. There is no way you could get it to do the pose from the boxart lol. Still I love Layzner very dearly so I'm happy with it!!
My pitch on Infinite Ryvius: Once per episode, a girl in a dinosaur suit shows up in the background. This is never explained and almost never remarked upon.

I know what I just said about few days ago about how I'm gonna try to not go as hard on little details but I was getting really annoyed at the part of Layzner's face that's under the visor being the wrong color and when I took it apart to paint it I broke a piece :((
∀ Moth@bisexualmothman.bsky.social · 2w agoI think I had been making gunpla/plamo unfun for myself by trying to go too hard on things like sanding off nubs and panel lining every single detail and even the little bit of painting I did. Snap building that dunbine last night has reminded me why I used to enjoy this more
SRW oomfs, would it be insane to start the series with this game bc it's like a sequel to Z or something?? Because I looked up the list of series included in this one and it seems kinda awesome
