Here’s an idea: why don’t we just stop using “tools” that can legally harm children and stop handing our money over to companies that give money to politicians that take away our rights? What if we just stopped giving fuel to these runaway trains. Could we really stop it? Because I think we can.

I end all of my blog posts, write ups, podcast blogs, and thoughts of big dreams with "Alright. That's enough. Let's go leave this place better than we found it." It's a reminder to myself that it's now time to put these dreams, lessons, and plans into action to make a positive impact.
About journaling: "This isn’t school. You don’t need to get a good grade. You don’t have to follow a format. Just take the thought and put the words on the page."
My hot take (especially if you think journaling isn’t your jam): Journaling doesn’t have to feel like a chore. Journaling doesn’t have to look or feel a certain way. Journaling doesn’t have to be your deepest darkest secrets. Journaling doesn’t have to be entertaining or memorable. 🧵/1

"Journaling doesn’t have to look a specific way. It can be your voice recorded on your phone. It can be list on a scrap of paper. It can be an elaborate craft project of mementos and photos. It can be brainstorming of things to think or do or write about another day. Who cares? You make the rule..."

I just finished Three Mothers by @hannahbeckerman.bsky.social and woah did this one get me in tears. It captures real teenage angst, perfectionism, siblings, relationships, parenthood, teenagehood, and all of the complexities in the way a good dramatic movie does. I highly recommend it!
