Just had my first check up. It turns out the radiation erosion also impacted my upper jaw. Every time she tried to put one of the implant sites in — MY UPPER JAWBONE WOULD SPLIT OPEN HORIZONTALLY. So that’s why my surgery took so long. They had to stuff my skull with bone graft.

Chompers update: bruising and swelling have gone down. Still can’t smile. But TEEF.
