Collab with a friend (I think she has a Bluesky, will link ASAP). Process here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXtB... Might still tinker with it a little more but I'm calling it mostly done.
I feel like these are a little too involved to be called "doodles" but they're also a little bit fast and loose with the detail to be proper paintings? Eh. Process videos in the previous post because I'm a disorganized dumbass. Model was made in Zbrush and rendered in Blender.
Challenged myself to do a portrait in 15 min without ref and no use of 3D. Failed on three fronts! This took the better part of an hour and I cried uncle to look at a ref about midway which was a model I made in Zbrush a zillion years ago. Will probably try again. T'was fun practice if nothing else.
Some hair doodles. Focus faltered around/after the purple hair because my Discord caught fire and my landlord decided then was a good time to start golfing cat toys upstairs. >8{
Rebelle Brush hack: Works with oils. Turn on "dirty" and "multicolor" brush. Switch to "paint and blend mode" (hotkey 3). Sample an area of your canvass by a light tap of your stylus. You can stay in P+B mode or switch to paint mode (hotkey 1) and you should get an effect like this.
Foliage made in Blender + a little lock pixel transparency magic and Guassian blur. Just a few finishing touches and I'm calling this one done. Previous WIPS (scroll down for more): bsky.app/profile/bjpe...

I feel like this is an underappreciated anatomical feature and I'd love to see it used more often. I would have liked to go further in depth on this but alas, time, life, reality, existential dread, and all that jazz. You know how it is.
