So. Got to see this other doctor today. He was surprised I wasn’t prescribed a splint right from the start. Got a big buddy strapping splint to wear 24/7 for 2 weeks (can only remove during shower). No driving, no holding stuff in that hand, no typing with it. Physiotherapy in 2 weeks if needed then
Getting rain for the first time in 2 or 3 months! Not a few dropplets too, but real honest heavy rain I’m so so so happy! I missed the sound, I missed the smell, I missed the colours/hues, I missed it so much I wanna cry lol. I love it when it rains ☔️ 🌧️

Dang the preview images, thumbnails, whatever you want to call them, are getting worse and worse on BSky. Had to crop my screenshots otherwise both previews were completely off the mark. Anyway. It's not that much of a progress but scales are finished on the legs. Wings next for real #dragon #3D

Also too tired to work on the wings of my dragon so I ended up just focusing on the scales. Will detail the hind legs too before I do the wings and tail. #3D #dragon #blender

Did more painting on the fish and dragon today but my right hand is now in so much pain I can’t find the strength to take a photo. This hand is now sitting in my lap and should not move for a while 😔 Really can’t wait for that medical appointment, hope they can book me a scan very soon…

Did some testing over the past couple of weeks and I’m definitely allergic to some preservatives used in certain acrylic paints. I seem fine with AK Acrylic Pro and Citadel, but unfortunately Army Painter Fanatic paints are a no-no for my nose. Will try with a mask tomorrow hopefully it’ll help 🤞

Bl3iz-Du (OKAMI SEQUEL!!!!)@bl3iz-du.bsky.social · 2w agoBesides painting Ume I also tested different blue for Hiraeth’s main colours without the pearlescent pigments just to get a rough idea of it. It’s not showing well on the photos but I think I’ve settled on Army Painters’ Deep Blue
Really wanted to do some 3D sculpting tonight but... now even the wrist is painful, all because of one small finger injury that refuses to heal. Gonna try and paint tomorrow if I can find a good way to rest the model so I don't have to hold it. Even if it works it'll be challenging to paint well...
People need to chill with chasing the internet fame. Went to the toilets at our grocery store and a woman was blocking the door because she put her toddler in the sink and asked her to sit, lay down in the sink, pose this way or that, ‘don’t forget to laugh for the video’. 1/2

Bats are the most diversed group of Mammals and come in so many different shapes and colours, I'm genuinely surprised I've never seen a single 'feral' bat OC. Not an anthro, not a shapeshifter, not a side companion/familiar. A proper feral bat OC like so many have foxes and wolves and dragons etc
