Every day, youtube torture me with adds for an AI game taking place in the stupidest dystopia ever conceived. Luckily, like all mobile game adds, the actual game being shown probably doesn't exist, so i should be safe.

Since im talking about deltarune I think one frustrating aspect of chapter 5 ending is that it cuts down the potential for asgore character growth by having him kidnapped right as it happens. Ive grown to consider kidnapping as a sort of soft-fridging. Its not permanent but it still is damaging.

hmmm thinking about stuff like the undertale yellow controversies and it does make me reflect on how its expected for the creators of smaller games to completely boot people and their contributions when scandals are discovered but i dont think it happens for big companies unless you re its face.

Okay, here a point i think is important when these kind of drama flare up. Standing by your friends and helping them work through difficult times is the right thing to do, even if they have done something bad. Friendship is not and shouldnt be something you drop the moment it become inconvenient.

Pastra should have never got dragged into this, and the fact people decided that was a good idea piss me off. Seeing it get so bad that they lost passion for a space they were into saddens me, it sucks seeing people have to move away from what they love because of how toxic it's community

The simple answer is you have to be sincere in your criticism and honest no matter what. Even if you're going with or against popular consensus. Being reflexively on board with everything is just as tedious as being reflexively contrarian.

Okay, might be a bit of a whataboutism, but i think there also the opposite issue of critics feeling like they have to be the annoying guy on your shoulder, telling you the thing you like is actually shit. Criticism is a type of art that should have purpose, otherwise, its just self-aggrandising.

To be fair, Polyphemus wasn't an innocent little guy. He pretty much was a bully who hoarded resources on the island for himself and ate people. But its hard to deny that he was kind of justified in attacking oddyseus and his crew when they invaded his home, killed his pets and stole his stuff.

As much as people make fun of videogame creepypasta for not being scary, i do find them to be some of the most enjoyable. I just really like to discover all the weird shit in some bootleg/hack with the author. Honestly, actual danger isnt really as important as the story being told.

Just been reminded of the R-type series and whats its based around So there this concept of R-type and K-type reproduction. Humans are K-type. We have a small ammount of offsprings but care really deeply for each of them. R-type meanwhile have tons of offsprings but leave them to their own.

Okay saw the phisnom controversy and ill give everyone a reminder that information is really easy to manipulate and these kind of attempt at "exposing" people usually are done in bad faith. So wait until proper evidence is presented before making a judgement.

Okay last night we watched the two spider verse movies and I kind of realised something Watch out, there gonna be spoilers for the second one. So Miguel believes that canon events absolutely cannot be disrupted, but I don't think he understand them as much as he think he does.

those old stories were originally told orally and would keep changing depending on who told it and where. There is not original work remaining, only one of the most successfully preserved adaptation, but it is just that, an adaptation, no more valid than any other version of the story.

With all respect, there is no group whose opinion I am less interested in when it comes to a film adaptation of The Odyssey than Classics People. When an entire discipline revolves around reverence to and thorough knowledge of a text, evaluating a deliberately modern adaptation is kind of impossible

Okay, watching the amazing spider man duology today....wasnt a big fan of the first movie but i was really into the second one. From what my brother told me, the trilogy was originally meant to end with ravencroft and carnage which would have really fit the spy subplot.

Just played this one and its been pretty fun. Its a simple but fun premise with a silly protagonist. Overall a nice hommage to resident evil that doesnt take itself too seriously but does manage some really good athmosphere and level design. Its going to be interesting to see how it develop.

Okay final thoughts on spiderman 3 by Sam raimi On one hand i do like how they handled the black suit storyline, to a point where i wonder if it was always part of the script. It fits in well with the storyline of peter seeking revenge on sandman. Eddy brock and venom on the other hand...

there was this one game i saw a long time ago (from drawfee i think) where you`d encounter events which you needed some stats to perform. There was this one particular event where you`d find a dying snake and if you try to check on it the game went. "Perhaps someone more compassionate would care"
