Another great workday at Rootwork Herbals! We cared for some fruit trees, harvested calendula flowers and tulsi, and got some hands-on experience gathering and working with medicinal herbs. Thank you to all the amazing folks who came out to this workday!

Last month, we gathered with the team for our quarterly staff meet-up at Riverside Church. It was energizing to spend time together and brought us a renewed sense of camaraderie, which we definitely needed as a fully remote org. ✨️ 💚

Our 5th Abundance in Autumn festival was magic ✨️ It was wonderful to connect, be on land, and break bread with funders, investors, donors, friends, and family at this special event in celebration of the Autumn harvest. Thanks to all who supported and attended!

Our logo carries the adinkra symbol "Boa Me Na Me Mmoa Wo," translated as "help me and let me help you." Interdependence isn't a value we aspire to. It's the whole model. To build Black community wealth and health, we have to work together. This BPM, be part of that helping hand. bit.ly/bffbpm
