realized while i love elden ring's demigods as walking disasters, i don't really.... care for most of their battles. like regal ancestor spirit is one of my favorites despite having next to no lore, simply because it's gongeoius
Huh, I just noticed Kat's basic attack chain goes from 8 to 12 hits depending how rapidly you mash the button (as in, some attacks become multi-hit in the middle of the combo)

i was just saying to jenn how if gamefreak had just kept the same basic formula but kept adding more pokemon and more mapspace and more music, the series would still be s-tier. the whackass open world and gimmicks and shiny hunting simplification only detracts
