im a blisy ._.@blisy.net · 2mo agoLocking twitter was exclusively to reduce this insane amount of input I was getting. There are too many people there for me to respond or effectively formulate my thoughts to them and communicate what I’m trying to do.
I want to be clear about two things regarding my site; 1. It is not vibe coded. My friend who helped is a full stack dev. Just finalizing the UI and features took us 4 months, we started in like February. 2. PokeAPI is not like constantly scraping serebii or bulbapedia or something.
I fly home tonight then am moving immediately after. Once my office is set up I’ll figure out what I want to say, how I want to say it, and clarify what I was trying to do while apologizing about what I feel like I did wrong upon reflection.
And lastly, I think writing a formulated response while feeling this way is bad for the response and bad for the readers. I’ll only be unclear and more upset when people don’t understand what I meant again. I wouldn’t expect anything bigger than this chain from me until like Thurs/fri
I had several people watch the video before it launched and literally no one red flagged my video as being offensive or rude to Joe, even a personal friend of his didn’t say anything. So yeah I’m caught off guard and a bit confused and defensive. I don’t think I’m being that weird or rude atm.
Like yeah, Blisy said there’s a bunch of useless information front loaded on these websites and I and many others agree. It’s an opinion. If you don’t agree, great! Keep using these other websites. Blisy didn’t say anything wrong, you just don’t agree and are treating it as something it’s not

If you like the tcg that’s fine. But there’s something so wrong with the way its fan media is. Every single video or short I see is focused on “good pulls” and talking about gengar and Charizard. I can’t explain it but it feels like gambling marketed towards kids right now.
