You know me.

I’m so so vocally worn out from coaching this weekend. I need to get back into practice of just speaking more. Some days I don’t say anything except what I need to tell Kingsley.

Thinking, "okay, it's gonna take some discipline, but I think I am going to survive the school year with balancing everything" and then my friend texts me that she has a guy she wants to introduce me to Ma'am I do not have time for a man. But I also said, I would give folks a chance, so.

my deep freezer is here, it's plugged in, and it fits PERFECTLY in the spot I designated for it. And I'm running ALL my appliances and it must be on a different circuit because I haven't accidentally caused a power outage.

the debate program director called me and he may have a lead on a couple of new part-time coaches to beef up my program - they're a little closer to "my" era of the format, which I like, and also, this may be a way for me to help me wind down and gradually reduce my commitment in the next few years

I feel like I’m back in form - came home and just plowed through the last 1/3 of a book. Consequently, I am now starting my Long Walk after sunset. But, like, before too long the ONLY time I’ll be able to walk is when it’s pitch black out. Hence:

A woman on a trail with a bright red LED for safety clipped to her shoulder.

I got an A in my class I am also kind of weepy today I am not on my period I am pretty sure tomorrow's the one-year anniversary of Nala's... not being here (physically) anymore I am very stressed out I have a weekend of coaching ahead of me idk what I need but I'm gonna spend $ about it

Finding myself once again seeing a lot of physiological signs of stress and really clueless about how to deal with it. I guess my first option is to try and take some PTO.

Is there a fiction book meant for YA audiences that has a useful/poignant/helpful depiction of grief? All I can think of, top of mind, is like John Green books or something. What do the youths read Now?

today's the first time I felt, like, truly indispensable at work. like, to the point that if they ever started layoffs again, and my position was a threat, someone in a true leadership position would protest, would say, "absolutely not, we NEED her" a comforting thought, but, also, now, headache.

I think The Universe is thanking me for working my ass off the last two weeks by giving me a tolerable forecast; there are currently MULTIPLE days ahead that start with a 7.
