I think that if one looks at most, but certainly not all, of the GOP's and President's statements about this they would have avoided using the word "jobs" and just say "US manufacturing" thereby allowing the stupid and/or lazy amongst us, and they are legion, to infer that they meant to say "jobs"

This is a PSA for the billions of parents around the globe. Do not allow #SamAltman anywhere near your children; a minimum perimeter of 40-50 km is likely required. It is probably best if we keep him out of the reach of all other humanity as well. I'm sure he would be more comfortable with that.
I hope that the handful of Republicans who briefly discovered that they we vertebrates don't allow this to sway them. It is woefully insufficient without similar withdrawal of the disgraceful and corrupt provision of lifetime immunity to any charges of tax malfeasance or fraud.
