I think a notification should light up my phone for exactly as long as it takes for me to look at it. If I look and then look away and still see it lit up in my peripheral vision, I will think it’s a second notification. Also whenever I lift a big knife in the kitchen, everyone kind of bristles.

I think that phone books will soon be a thing that kids will find too preposterous to believe. Yeah it used to be there was a giant book that had every person's name, address, and phone number in it sent to every house. If you invented that today it would be seen as harassment.
