friend made me laugh during the shoot

Some quick thoughts I had on the current state of vheavy, particularly about wave breaker 🌊

A screenshot of several messages sent by the op Shello. The messages read:
Unfortunately the way to get the most value out of wave rn in a lot of cases is to spam it because each individual one does so little
Or time it well with your teammates' plays and other specials which is what I aim for when possible but I get into the bad habit of just chucking it pretty often
Earlier I was playing an open zones game on robo with an inkline stringer and comboing chumps and wave gave me some of the cleanest sexiest retakes ever
But because everything that can go wrong can easily go wrong in a match, you can never guarantee that you can combo wave with your teammates specials in the way that you planned, but you can pretty reliably guarantee spamming

wavebreaker is the only object in splatoon that brings joy to my life. The way it warns me of danger is so heartwarming. every time it pulses I regain a bit of my sanity... Crab could never bring me such joy it's too much commitment for what it is. I will be moving on to bigger and greater tides.

The tide floods in… Mesopelagic flows through Trans Cup 2026! Also celebrating the newest recruit, @bluberryneko.bsky.social and their first splat tournament! “Wow! Look at them swim!” Onlookers report from the sidelines of Humpback Pumptrack, the signature map of this fearsome pod. #compsplatoon

Alright, let's do this one more time! LUTI is over and we've had some shifts in our roster. Welcome to the Mesopelagic zone, again! #compsplatoon

@bluberryneko.bsky.social supportive anchor

An image of an inkling wearing the Double Egg Shades, Annaki Polpo-Pic Tank, and Spiked Duck Boots. The text reads: "Bluberry (Rhinocodon typus) is the dedicated backline of Mesopelagic. Despite hailing from foreign waters, the pod has welcomed them into their native habitat. Blu is loyal to heavy splatling, and shocks the pod every day with how little they manage to die. The support they provide the pod is unmatched."

Watched Silver’s Global Gauntlet run (ezmd stamper), thought I’d share my notes from it. Forgive my sloppy handwriting lol I would *heavily* recommend everyone run through a couple GG games, bonus points if they play your weapon. #compsplatoon

If you stream at all, I'd recommend multistreaming to Youtube! You can then tag the matches on sendou.ink and make them searchable for others, plus get timestamps out of it to use for the VOD.

I’ve been saying this for a while but if you have a capture card and play an “odd weapon” please upload your VODs!! It doesn’t matter what div you are. Anything really is better than nothing. (I started uploading when I was d10). #compsplatoon #splatoon3 #splatoon
